There are many
variations of "makil" or stick dances. These series is from
the city of Kortes (Cortes) in Nafarroa (Navarre). Kortes
is near the border of the Spanish region of Aragon. Their
annual feastday of St. Michael is celebrated on Sept. 29th with
this set of dances.
