In most cases, we don't know these folks personally, but we've had excellent luck in
hosting people from the Basque country. It's a great way to
introduce a great new dynamic into your family or Basque community.

EXCHANGE OF YOUTH TO LEARN BASQUE IN E.H.
There are 2 families from the Basque Country interested in sending
their daughters to the USA so they can practice their English for a
month and they are willing to host your son of daughter for another
month. If you do not have teenagers or if they cannot go, they are open
to paY money to the family. Here you have the emails to contact them to
ask them questions or to show them your interest. It would be
really beneficial for our Basque youngs to live in the Basque Country
with a family and to learn Basque. They can also attend Basque classes
in the summer in the Basque Country while living t\with the family.

A MONTH IN BOISE IN
EXCHANGE FOR WORK
Eusko Jaurlaritzan lanean aritzen naiz eta jakin nahiko nuke ea
posible litzakeen gazteekin elkartrukeak egitea.
Gasteiztarra nauzue eta alaba dut 17 urtekoa. Euskalduna (ikasketak
guztiz euskaraz egiten ditu eta etxean ere euskaraz berba egiten du) eta
ingelesez maila ertaina du. Euskal dantzak ikasi ditu.
Prest
egongo giñateke, biok, udaran hilabete bat igarotzeko Boiseko familia
batetan.
Gure
helburua zera da: alabak ingelera ikastea eta beste kultura ezaugutzea.
Euskaldunen
giroa beste lurraldeetan.

WORKER 3 MONTHS IN CALIFORNIA
Mi nombre es Izate Sanchez Amutxastegi. Soy de Donosti (San Sebastian,
Gipuzkoa) y tengo 26 años. He estudiado en la Ikastola desde los 3 años
y soy bilingüe (castellano y esukara). Mi intención es dar clases de
euskara, o trabajar en algun restaurante euskaldun o en alguna asociación
euskalduna (euskaletxe) o hacer algun intercambio con alguien que este
interesado en venir aqui, pero no tengo ninguna información. Es por eso
que te escribo, por si me puedes ayudar para informarme y encontrar
algun tipo de trabajo o colaboración en alguno de estos sitios.

Idazten dotzut esateko oin helbide elektroniko berri hau daukotela,

Nire izena Eva da eta orain dela oso gutxi
hasi nintzen euskara klaseak ematen Gasteizko IKA euskaltegian,
otsailean hain zuzen ere. Ez dakit euskara irakasleak behar dituzuen ala
ez, nola funtzionatzen duzue, etab. Horregatik mail hau bidaltzen dizut,
informazioa jasotzea nahiko nukeelako. Euskara klaseak atzerrian ematea
esperientzia polita iruditzen zait eta beharbada, atzerrira joateko
prest egongo nintzateke. Ez dakit, kontatuko didazu nire asmoa posiblea

Euskal Herriko, 25 urteko
neska bat naiz eta ingelesa hobetzekotan, Estatu Batuetara joatea
pentsatzen ari naiz. Nolabait,
autofinantzatu egin nahiko
nuke bidaia, posible balitz bertan lanen batean arituz, edo.
Bestalde, egonaldia ere posible balitz, bertakoen artean igaro nahiko
nuke (kalean, nekazal famili batean...). Etxekoei nere laguntza osoa
eskeiniko niekete eta nere gastuak neronek ordaindu. Eta
horrexegatik bidaltzen dizuet email hau: eskertuko nizuekete, mesedez,
ni hartzera prest egongo litzatekeen familiren bat ezagutu eta haren berri
emango bazenizkit.
