In a Basque chess set, what do you think would be the two characters? Not too tricky is it: mariners & farmers. Until recent times, most all Basques made their living off the land or the sea. This was the world of our Basque ancestors who came to this country. And now we have two musical collections that capture these worlds.
This album is inspired by the long-time maritime tradition of the Basque Country.
