We have received word that a newly formed organization of former U.S. herders that returned to Euskadi, are planning a trip here in 2014.  This could be a great crossroads:  we acknowledge all herders, those who stayed and returned.  Whereas Rock Springs years ago held a tribute for the Wyoming herders, no-one has done anything beyond that event. 

Bakersfield makes a lot of sense with the sheep connection there, and it should help to further boost attendance.

WHEN: This can be a single event so as not to interfere with your regular weekend events; maybe Saturday evening? 

COST.  This depends on what is decided to be offered by your club.  Moderate could be a meal ticket for those participants; minimal could be providing a certificate like we did for the Klika tribute a few years ago to those who attend. It's a spend money to make money proposition.
