This year Junior Mus will be going back to the
regional semifinals system, with the winner of the
region advancing to the finals at the convention.
Ideally each club will have a tournament and then
get together for the semi-finals within their
region, to compete for a chance to represent at the
convention, which will held in Buffalo, WY this
summer in July. Not only will this promote Mus, but
it is another great way for our youth to get
together. Volunteers have stepped up from each
region to organize the tournaments, and deserve big
thanks. Each regional team will receive $200
per person to help defer the cost of getting to the
convention. In addition to the cash, each
participant will receive a trophy provided by NABO.
The regions are as follows, with those in charge of
each area:
WEST: (Valerie Arrechea): San Francisco Bay Area,
Los Banos, Fresno, Rocklin, Seattle, Vancouver
NORTH: (Tyler Smith): Idaho clubs, Wyoming clubs,
Salt Lake, Ontario
SOUTH: (Candida Echeverria): Southern California
Clubs, Bakersfield, Las Vegas, New Mexico
CENTRAL: (Teresa Franzoia): Nevada clubs, Colorado,
Susanville
EASTERN: (TBA): East Coast clubs |
